Sibeal Network Invites New Board Members
Sibeal Network is the only postgraduate network in Ireland dedicated to forwarding the study of Gender and Feminist Studies across disciplines. As such, we pride ourselves on the work we do to support early career researchers on their academic careers.
We are now looking for two enthusiastic and motivated Postgraduate or Early Career Research Scholars to join our Board and contribute to an enriching feminist academic collective! We invite all such scholars resident of Ireland and Northern Ireland, to send their applications. Sibeal Network actively promotes intersectionality and specially encourages migrants, people of colour, LGB and queer individuals, trans and non-binary people, refugees and asylum seekers to join the Network.
Of these two roles, we are particularly interested in recruiting a board member for the Treasurer role. The other role will be that of a Membership Officer. As board members, the individuals will be representing the Network at their local feminist events, help other members in organising the Annual Sibeal Conference, and also publish the Sibeal Journal. This is an unpaid position.
If you are interested in joining the board, please send us an expression of interest and a brief bio (up to 500 words).
Please email your expression of interest and any queries to firstname.lastname@example.org by 16 August 2018.
We look forward to hearing from you soon!
